Get back to nature...
The mountains surrounding Cwmclydach are popular with walkers and cyclists. Our country park is a perfect starting point for anyone visiting the South Wales valleys with routes leading into the Ogwr, Afan and Rhondda valleys. The countryside park is the perfect starting point for walkers, cyclists and nature spotters. Car parking facilities are available at the top lake, lakeside cafe and King George's Athletics Field. Getting to Cwmclydach on public transport is also easy. Tonypandy bus station is one of the main transport hubs in RCT with buses traveling to/from Cardiff, Porthcawl, Aberdare and Pontypridd. Cwmclydach is located near the Cardiff-Treherbert railway. We recommend alighting at Llwynypia station, located a stones throw away from Coleg Morgannwg, Gelligaled Park, Glyncornel Nature Reserve, Glamorgan Colliery and the famous Scotch Terraces. Top Tip
